The AGRIVI app is an advanced farm management platform designed to streamline agricultural operations. It offers farmers a range of tools for planning, monitoring, and analyzing their farming activities to increase efficiency and productivity. Additionally, the app provides valuable insights and data-driven recommendations to help farmers make informed decisions for their crops and operations.
The AGRIVI project represented a transformative leap forward for existing farm management software, driven by a deep partnership between our team and the AGRIVI specialists. Together, we addressed the issues stemming from obsolete systems and constrained features. Our collaborative mission focused on revitalizing the software's foundation and capabilities. This revamp involved enhancing the user interface for greater dynamism and improving data handling for increased speed and efficiency, ensuring a seamless and more powerful tool for farm management.
Our joint strategy promoted a continuous flow of insights and tactics, ensuring the update went beyond technical enhancements to embody AGRIVI's future goals in agricultural management innovation. This approach not only revitalized the platform but also positioned it at the forefront of agricultural technology trends, ready to meet tomorrow's farming challenges.
The Field Operations (FieldOps) module, with its map-based component, stands out as the new one-from-all point of interest. Using a map based view, it offers an intuitive management of agricultural operations from one point of entry, seamlessly integrating various functionalities like managing work orders, marking field activities, and specialized tools such as the Spray Advisor and Fertigation modules.
Enabling users to create and manage field tasks with detailed activity tracking, Work Orders are the most advanced and most used module of Agrivi. By creating the work order module we are allowing users to enter multiple activity types, record machinery usage, people's work hours, harvesting, and others. We allowed users to manage their data in a single place of entry and later extract analytical data through reports.
Spray Advisor enhances decision-making for plant treatment timing by integrating a specialized weather service for assessing spraying conditions. It provides a seamless experience for users to evaluate potential spraying dates, categorizing conditions as poor, good, or excellent based on field geolocation and product absorption. This feature simplifies complex data into accessible, visual insights, ensuring treatments are carried out at optimal times for effectiveness. Its user-friendly interface makes navigation effortless, promoting efficient and informed planning.
The Fertigation Management Module enhances fertigation practices by integrating with external IoT devices for automated data collection. It features an analytics tool that consolidates data for comprehensive analysis, aiding in informed decision-making. With its map-based interface, users can track devices across fields, ensuring precise management. Additionally, the module seamlessly connects with field and crop management systems, creating a unified solution for agricultural management. This integration of technology and practicality streamlines fertigation processes, making them more efficient and user-friendly.
In concluding our work on the AGRIVI project, we successfully updated and improved a key farm management software. Our team focused on using new technologies like Angular and Dapper to make the app better and work faster. We were really happy to be a part of a project that changes the way we produce food. This effort not only made the AGRIVI app more useful but also showed our dedication to creating great software that makes a difference.
